For those who are curious, I'm happy to report that after three years my original Homie battery is about to the pass 10,000 kilometer mark. This battery has recently been struggling when climbing steep hills under full power but is still going.

Love my homie. Nireeka team and Shonjae, can't thank you enough for creating such a beautiful bike. If I may just suggest something for improving the design...location of the kickstand. My left heel hits the kickstand when pedalling. No biggie, just need to adjust the way I pedal so as not to hit it. I'm also looking into a different type of kickstand to make it work.

In this video, you can see how easy is to remove the battery on the Nyx to charge the battery inside or replace it with a spare battery on long journeys.
The good thing about this battery is that, since it has a separate carbon fiber cover, unlike the Homie and Prime, you can ride the bike without the battery and still cover the inner frame to protect the wires and connectors inside from dirt and rocks.

It's 122 links on the Deore groupset and 126 links on the XT.

Chris replied to
"Current shipping time to Florida?"
Gary, the processing and delivery time vary depending on the ordering time, bike model, and even bike color and size. Currently, the fastest delivery time is for the Homie 17" and 21", and the longest is for Prime Large size especially in Red.
During the pandemics, the shipping time was even close to 6 months in some cases. That was due to port congestion and also unusual inspections.

Thanks for your support. The current processing time for the Homie (19") model is about a month. After shipping, delivery takes about 45 days. However, based on the current situations in customs, it might take a little longer.

Canada does not have a class system in place for electric bikes. Instead, all ebikes in Canada cannot exceed 500W or 32 km/h. In Canada, ebikes are allowed to have pedal assist as well as a throttle function.
With this in mind, you can get either Homie (https://nireeka.com/configurator/nireeka-homie) or Nyx (https://nireeka.com/configurator/nyx-title).
If you're not going to use the bike on public roads, the Prime with 750w or 1500w (https://nireeka.com/configurator/nireeka-prime) is perfectly fine as well.

You're correct. That's because the brakes supposed to be Tektro but we decided to go with a higher quality brand like Shimano since we will have this cut-off feature in the NSD using an accelerometer sensor.
