I am concerned which frame size to buy.  I am 5'11" with a 32" inseam and ride a 58cm road and gravel bike.  I have noticed comments on YouTube that the frame felt too small when the person was 5'9".  i don't want to feel jammed on the frame and ...

I bought the large frame like you.  I hope that the wheel base doesn't make it feel mushy.  It is a little longer that my road bike and gravel bike.

What size Prime should I choose?

Is there any way to add a dropper seat post to the Prime?  I assume you cannot, but maybe?

Hello - does the Prime have any built in sensor that shuts the motor off when the brakes are applied?  I think that is called a brake sensor?

Jeff, there is no brake sensor on the Prime since we're using Shimano hydraulic brakes and there is no built-in sensor on these brakes. However, we have shift sensor that shuts the motor off when shifting the gear to protect the drivetrain.

1. Reduced shifting performance during riding.

2. There is too much dust or sludge on the chain.

3. Noise is generated when the transmission system is running.

4. There is a rattling sound when pedaling due to the dry chain.

5. Place for a long time after raining.

1. The chain should be kept clean at all times. Best to clean sheet each ride. That is assuming you're riding for a decent amount of time and of road where first and debris build up on the chain and gears.

2. It's normal for dust to collect on the chain and gears as they are exposed to the elements.

3. It is normal for the motor to make noise when it is active and if your gears are set properly there shouldn't be any noise coming from the chain and rear of the bike.

4. You should lubricate your chain after cleaning it each time you ride.

5. The bike can be stored in cool dry place but try to store the battery inside. I keep mine inside in winter away from the extreme come temperatures from outside.

6 and 7 False, you should maintain your bike all the time regardless of how many hours or distance you ride. Brake pads wear out each time you use them, the chain needs cleaning and the battery needs charging. Every time you check these you should check everything else. It doesn't mean you have to wash your bike rack time. In fact I never was my bike but I always make sure it is in good order for my next ride. I keep a close eye parking attention to everything as I ride to make sure I prevent issues before they occur.

When Should the Chain be Maintained?

Love the bike so far, now that I got a mechanic to bleed the rear brakes.

How are the gears and chain holding up for veteran riders?

I'm curious to know what kind of life I should expect out of those components since there is superhuman stress loaded onto those ...

I've ride on a mountainous terrain.
For this reason I've had to replace my chain once since first receiving the bike and in doing so, I also replaced the front chainring from a 40 tooth to 32 tooth 105bcd chainring.

Just recently the rear hub just have up and will need to replace with a new one. I will do this myself as soon as I order a new one. I will first remove the damaged hub to inspect then find something that will be stronger. Hopefully made from steel of possible. I have tried very hard to keep the load at low as possible on the bike when climbing but I think the 40 tooth front chain ring was to big for the steep hills I ride and cause the damage prior to me replacing the chain and front chainring.

Assist from your the Prime is an amazing bike that goes almost anywhere.

What options do you regret getting or not getting at the time you purchased?

I opted for the front suspension forks, I wish i had not purchased them and spent the money on an aftermarket set.

I have a Nyx and there's like zero documentation that I can find. There's a button on the side by the key hole. WHAT DOES IT DO?!

Justin, in some versions, you need to press this button to turn the bike on. It's the battery power button. In some cases, the battery doesn't have this feature.
