The motor rotates in a single direction. What you are hearing is the inner workings of what is called the free hub body. Its where the gear cassette is. This clicks when moving backward and locks in when moving foward. I believe that is what we are hearing

Hello,
So I just received delivery of my Prime (pictures soon!).  When I push the bike backwards, the motor makes a clicking noise.  Just wanted to know:
1. Normal?
2. If normal, does it damage the motor by pushing bike backwards? (Yes, I know bikes are supposed to go forward, but I mean like rolling it back into its parking spot!)

Can't wait to ride.  Still finalizing set up (brake adj, gear adj, etc)

Pushing the bike BACKWARDS...Is it harmful to the motor?

I received the Torque Sensor Package today, but it did not come with any installation instructions.
Do you have any instructions or videos to help me with the installation process?

Dammit. Still leaves a 1mm gap between the bottom bracket frame and the RHS lockring. Maybe spacers are needed on both sides... I dunno.  Buy a motorbike

Has there been any progress on the delivery of the NSD display yet?

So I'm biking home tonight... and this thing shows up out of nowhere.   I now know that I can forcefully bunny-hop the Nireeka Homie in a pinch.   Emergency hopping a combined ~114kg (250lbs) was not fun, but I am not dead, and the bike took it like champ.   Almost 1000km ...

If you have a Bosch e-bike light kit, keep in mind that turning on the headlight also turns on the backlight at the same time. It uses a single switch to control both lights. 1. Locate the (+) button on one of the handlebars, next to the tiny LCD monitor. 2. To turn on the light, press and hold the (+) button for no more than three seconds.
