We are Nireeka.
There are two types of bikes in the world: Boring bikes and Nireeka bikes. At Nireeka, we redefine what it means to ride. Our electric bikes are not just a mode of transportation—they’re a statement of innovation, style, and performance.
Established - 2018
In 2018, Nireeka was born from a vision to transform the cycling industry. Founded by Max Shojaie, a mechanical engineer with a passion for innovation, and his brother, Younes, the brand started with a bold mission: to create electric bikes that are not only high-performing but also accessible and beautifully designed. What began as a dream quickly turned into a global phenomenon. Through four successful crowdfunding campaigns, Nireeka gained the trust of riders worldwide, raising over $4 million and delivering advanced e-bikes to customers in over 60 countries. 2018 was the start of a journey, and today, Nireeka continues to lead the charge in redefining what’s possible in electric mobility.
Our Mission
At Nireeka, our mission is simple yet transformative: to redefine the way people ride by blending advanced technology, exceptional design, and uncompromising quality. We believe that cycling should be more than just a way to get from point A to B—it should be an exhilarating experience that inspires freedom, adventure, and sustainability. We are committed to creating electric bikes that cater to the unique needs of every rider, whether they’re urban commuters, trail enthusiasts, or thrill-seekers. By integrating cutting-edge features like smart sensors, and personalized riding assistance, we aim to make cycling not only efficient but also enjoyable and empowering. At the heart of our mission is a dedication to innovation, customer satisfaction, and environmental responsibility. Every Nireeka bike is designed to inspire confidence, foster connection, and contribute to a greener planet—one ride at a time.
What does Nireeka mean?
The word Nireeka is derived from the Zoroastrian concept of "Nairyosangha" or Nayrika, which symbolizes divine energy, the life force, or the spiritual essence within every living being. It represents vitality, purity, and the intrinsic connection between human life and the universe.
