Any UK-based Nireeka Prime owners able to get insurance sorted? (did you have to register with the DVLA, get the Prime inspected first?)

My take on this is about how you  ride the e bike,if you speed around using throttle only or PAS  5  at 30mph   then  your fair game to gain attention to being stopped ! I ride mine on the road at the UK law speed limit and had no problems ,off road is where i use the speed , another thing is always wear a helmet and high vis jacket even in daytime .

eBike insurance in the UK--for a 1000 watt Bafang motor?

Im looking for a chainring guard for the Nirkeeka Prime 1500W Bafang. Grease from the chain constantly attacking me!

Just received my Prime as well: may I ask if you've managed to get insurance of some kind l? (1000 watt motor prevents standard eBike insurance) Are you registering this with the DVLA, do we need to also have these inspected, get tags?

I would like to know what type of tires you use (for the revenant bikes). The homepage shows Schwalbe tires but in some reviews Maxxis tires are used.

I don't have a Revenat (I have a Prime ordered) but I did read in the small print that tires may not come as shown or something like that. I ordered early August and am waiting to see what tires come on mine. I have Maxxis tires on my regular bicycle and really like them.

Dear Nireeka Team, is there a posibility from your side to make a hardware/software limit for your bikes? I am interested in the new Revenant bike. The problem is the law in germany. Only 25 kmh is allowed. Otherwise you need an insurance for the bike. To get the insurance, ...

Absolutely. We can limit the max speed to 25 kph. Just keep in mind that it cannot be changed after receiving the bike and it will be shown in the display that the speed is limited.

So I'm biking home tonight... and this thing shows up out of nowhere.   I now know that I can forcefully bunny-hop the Nireeka Homie in a pinch.   Emergency hopping a combined ~114kg (250lbs) was not fun, but I am not dead, and the bike took it like champ.   Almost 1000km ...
